Parking Recommendations and Details Parking is available throughout downtown Minneapolis (except at Dunwoody Institute). Parking information is available online at parking.ci.minneapolis.mn.us. Arrive early due to downtown traffic and congestion. You can park near the finish and ride any Hennepin Ave. bus to the Basilica before the race. Recommendation 1: Park near the finish Recommended parking is located at the St. Anthony Main parking ramp. http://www.saintanthonymain.com/level1map.shtml Park in the ramp ($3.00), walk west to Hennepin Ave. and ride any city bus (a $0.50 charge) to the Basilica to the start. Buses leave every 5-7 minutes. Please make sure you are on a bus by 6:30 p.m. to ensure you arrive at the start on time. You can also walk south on Hennepin Ave. to the Basilica which is a 1.25-mile walk. View parking map. Recommendation 2: Park at midway point Park in Target Center parking ramps (ABC Ramps) which are halfway between the start and finish lines. Event parking is $10 http://www.abc-ramps.com/maps.aspx Walking to the start (½ mile): You will walk east on N. 7th St. to Hennepin Ave, turning right on Hennepin Ave. to the Basilica of St Mary. Walking from the finish (½ mile): You will walk south on Hennepin Ave. to N. 7th St., turning right on N. 7th St. View parking map. Recommendation 3: Park near the start You can park near the start and then ride any Hennepin Ave. bus back into downtown after the race. Due to the parade, the Hennepin Ave. bus is detoured onto Nicollet Ave. To get to the Basilica you will get off at the Nicollet Ave. / 12th St. S. stop. Walk west on 12th St. S. to Hennepin Ave., turning left onto Hennepin Ave.View parking map. Addresses to Know: Start Location The start is located at the Basilica of St. Mary in downtown Minneapolis. (88 N. 17th St., Minneapolis) Finish Location The finish is located on Main St. in front of Tuggs Tavern. (219 S.E. Main St., Minneapolis) Post-Race Party The post-race party is located on Nicollet Island at the Nicollet Island Pavilion (40 Power St, Minneapolis)
